Temple Beth-El

Florida's oldest Jewish congregation, established in 1876. A welcoming Reform community dedicated to worship, learning, and tikkun olam. The current synagogue building, completed in 1933, showcases Art Deco architecture.

Throughout its history, Temple Beth-El has been a pioneer in promoting inclusivity within the Jewish community. Notably, in 1962, Paula Ackerman served as the congregation's spiritual leader, making her one of the first women to perform rabbinical functions in the United States.
